Hazing Transparency Report
Fisher College is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus. In compliance with federal and state law, our policy prohibits all forms of hazing and outlines how to report, investigate, and prevent such behavior.
Definition of Hazing
Hazing refers to any action or situation—intentional, knowing, or reckless that endangers the physical, mental, or emotional health of an individual as part of joining, affiliating with, or maintaining membership in a group or organization.
Examples include but are not limited to:

Physical abuse or forced exercise

Forced consumption of alcohol, drugs, or substances

Sleep deprivation

Public humiliation
-
Coercion or threats

Acts of intimidation or embarrassment
Incidents
College Policies
Investigation Process
All reported hazing incidents will be investigated promptly:

Student violations are handled by the Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Police.

Faculty/staff violations are handled by the Director of Human Resources.
If found responsible, individuals or organizations may face:

Disciplinary probation

Suspension or expulsion

Revocation of organization recognition

Legal action when applicable
All outcomes will be documented in accordance with federal reporting laws.
Training
New students, Housing Staff, and Resident Assistants receive training from Campus Police during Welcome Weekend.
