Skill Building Badge Program
In order to enhance workplace readiness and skill development, Fisher is offering a Skill Building Badge Program to provide students with an opportunity to develop skills to make them more competitive and career-ready candidates post-graduation.
Badges will be offered in six areas: Communication, Community Service, Career Readiness and Professionalism, Leadership, Visual and Performing Arts, and Technology for the 21st Century Workplace. Learn more about them below.
To demonstrate completion and competency in one or more of these areas, students will complete an ePortfolio to track their learning and completion of Badge requirements. An ePortfolio is a collection of work (evidence) on a website that highlights learning and demonstrates completion of one or more Badges. It also provides a permanent artifact of learning and achievement that can be shared with potential internship supervisors, employers, graduate school admissions staff, or posted on LinkedIn, Handshake, or social media.
