The Fisher College Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a group of five full time faculty and administrators who serve to oversee and support compliance with federal guidelines for conducting research that involves the use of human subjects. The IRB is responsible for protecting the rights and welfare of human subjects that participate in College related research or research the College has agreed to support. The IRB must review all relevant research through an application process prior to research being conducted.

The Fisher College brand book can be used to ensure consistency in messaging and communication across the college, helping faculty and staff represent Fisher College in a unified way. This will be especially helpful for faculty and staff when creating presentations, marketing materials, or social media content.

Included in the Brand Book are Fisher College's fonts and colors, plus links to a file of logos for use in Fisher College-related materials.

• If you do not have access to Finalsite or Asana, email your website edit requests directly to Colleen Gordon, Digital Content Manager, and include the following information: 

• Include the URL(s) of the page(s) needing updates.
• Specify if the copy is a "replacement" or "addition" to existing content.
• Use quotations for exact wording changes (e.g., "change 'XYZ' to 'ABC'").
• Specify deadline for updates. Please allow at least 2-3 business days for completion.
• Attach screenshots for specific placement requests (if possible).
• If you have resources such as PDFs that need to be replaced, provide the name of the resource that is currently on the website.

The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at Fisher College collaborates with all faculty to help guide their on-going professional development as reflective and innovative teachers within a diverse learner-centered institution. 

In order to best serve the diverse population of Fisher College, we organize our practices around the following objectives:

• Provide orientation, mentoring and instructional support for all faculty at the college
• Provide a variety of professional development activities to promote effective teaching and learning practices for a diverse student population. 
• Encourage learner-centered teaching practices that work to foster active and engaged learning environments
• Assist faculty and students with academic support of the Learning Management System
• Provide instructional training and assistance for online and blended teaching
• Enhance and expand collaborative opportunities for students and faculty across disciplines
• Research, evaluate and provide opportunities for reflection and dialogue about the changing nature of teaching and learning
