Students in the dual enrollment program can start college with half a semester's worth of credits under their belts and can graduate in less than four years

Save Money

Students can take one course per semester in the Fall and Spring of their junior and senior years, saving approximately $3000 per course in tuition cost. In addition, students who complete the program also earn a $22,000 scholarship to attend Fisher College.

CM105-06 Public Speaking

Tues./Thurs.: 3:45-5:00 PM; in-person - 3 credits

This skills-based course will introduce you to the rhetorical elements of oral communication while exploring the theory and process of human communication. Students will learn the basic principles of audience analysis, outlining, locating supporting materials, and structuring an oral presentation for maximum effectiveness. A focus on practical skills will help students build confidence and manage speech anxiety while preparing them for success in typical public speaking situations encountered in life and career.

PS101-05 Intro to Psychology

Mon./Wed.: 3:45-5:00 PM; in-person - 3 credits

An introduction to the scientific study of behavior. The introductory readings and lectures demonstrate how psychology emerged as a distinct social science. The following areas are studied: research methods, the nervous system and its relationship to behavior, the sensory processes, learning, cognition, testing, and individual differences. This course will also introduce more complex areas such as personality development, psychopathology, and social influence.

CS118-01 Introduction to Animation Development

Mon./Wed.: 3:45-5:00 PM; in-person - 3 credits

This course allows students to author computer animations and interactive games while learning the fundamentals of object-oriented programming in a user-friendly environment. Students will think algorithmically and abstractly while gaining an appreciation of the complexity of building software systems, and a skill set for writing elegant code. Labs will build on the weekly lectures to reinforce the student's understanding of the animation feature discussed in the lecture.

How much does the Dual Enrollment Program cost?

College Access Program that provides FREE access to college credits during the Fall or Spring

Students are eligible to choose from numerous Fall course options

Students can earn up to 18 college credits (rising juniors) and 9 college credits (rising seniors) before officially entering college

Students who complete College 101 and/or Dual Enrollment courses are also eligible for a Fisher College $23,000 scholarship

If I complete the program, do I have to attend Fisher College?

While students who complete the program are not obligated to attend Fisher, students who elect to do so are awarded a $23,000 scholarship. This award is renewable each year and can be used in addition to any institutional, federal, or state aid for which they may qualify. The cost to attend our not-for-profit private college is just as affordable as any state university because of our generous scholarship opportunities.
