Fisher Falcons Win IACBE

Fisher Falcons Win IACBE

Predicting positive outcomes for a start-up company involves integrity, effective communication, and outstanding leadership. Challenges can be displayed when different minds are at play.

Thanks to Coach McWilliams, who was able to lead a team of five with great interpersonal skills to meet the requirements of an effective team.

Those skills involved the starting point guard Emily Deller, starting shooting guard Kati Einsiedal, small forward Sam Poliskey, Power forward Austin Dabney, and Center Fadi Dhabi, The Fab five of fisher college in the IACBE playoffs short for International Accreditation Council for Business Education.

During overtime, the team ran into a huddle to reflect on proposals that would put the technology start-up in play. With outstanding leadership, the team managed to be placed 1st out of 18 teams.

Starting point guard Emily Deller reflected on the learning experience she and her team faced.

“The live case competition my team and I worked on was a great learning experience for all of us. It required teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. While we each have different work styles, our understanding of each other’s strengths made delegating tasks and presenting the project simple and efficient. We got a chance to act in various leadership roles, and our shared dedication to the competition helped us to succeed. I am so proud to be part of this winning team and will value this experience for a long time.”

A lifetime experience shared with great minds! The Fisher Falcons managed to overcome the challenges with their improved skills, leading to a positive mindset for many years to come.
