Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Fisher College

 

During Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, 2024, Fisher College will host a range of on-campus events celebrating the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities. You can participate in activities such as representing at Red Sox Hispanic Heritage Night, testing your knowledge with Dominican Republic trivia, or enjoying a film from a Latin American director. Additionally, there will be off-campus events and resources available to further educate and honor the contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx communities in education, culture, and society.

September 20th   

 

Red Sox Hispanic Heritage Night (Student Activities partnered with RA Ari from Housing) 

 

Join RA Ari and Student Activities in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Fenway Park! 

Tickets are going fast, so RSVP via email to RA Ari at aramos13@fisher.edu to reserve your ticket.  

Each ticket includes a voucher for a free, limited-edition, Hispanic Heritage Month Red Sox jersey!

EL Mundo Hispanic Heritage Breakfast 

Boston Park Plaza Hotel, 50 Park Plaza, Boston 

An important networking event for Latino professionals this event will have keynote speakers, awards, and over 500 attendees from top corporate and public institutions. Buy tickets  

 

September 21st 

East Boston Latin Music & Dance Festival 

Location: East Boston Memorial Park, 143 Porter St.Boston, MA 02128

2024 Boston Hispanic & Latino 5K 

Location: Mystic River 

Proceeds from the run will be going to eight Hispanic and Latino non-profits.

Latinx Heritage Night at the Museum of Fine Arts 

Location: Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave, Boston 

This event starts at 5:00 p.m. and lasts until 10 p.m., filled with live music, art exhibitions, and more!

CineFest Latino 

Location: Various venues across Boston, including Coolidge Corner Theatre and Emerson’s Paramount Theatre

Showcasing films from Latin American filmmakers. There will also be Q&A sessions with directors!
