Originally from Montreal, Canada, Professor Weiner studied Psychology and Women’s Studies as an undergraduate student and Counseling Psychology as a graduate student at McGill University. She completed her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Columbia University.
Throughout her career, she has been engaged in research projects in the areas of gender studies and multiculturalism. In addition to presenting at national and international conferences, she has been a faculty leader for staff and students, chairing the Diversity across the Curriculum committee as well as overseeing the Diversity Studies minor on campus. In addition to being a licensed Psychologist, she is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Human Services program.
