Transfer to Fisher

All degrees can be accepted with a 2.0 GPA from Community College with the exception of Biology, all Information Technology programs require a 2.5 GPA. A 2.5 GPA is guaranteed admission for any program.

• Must have an Associates Degree aligned with your program of study (ex. if you want to study Management, an Associates in Business or a related subject will transfer over.) However, there is considerable flexibility. 

• The deadline to submit the FASFA application for MA Guarantee is May 1^st

At Fisher, our transfer students are eligible for generous merit scholarships as high as 60% off the cost of tuition in addition to need-based aid.  Please note that these merit scholarships only apply to students studying at the Boston campus. 

There is a transfer scholarship for online students of $100 off undergraduate program courses.

An Articulation Agreement is a formal agreement between two participating schools detailing the process by which credits and degrees at one institution may transfer or are equivalent to the other institution. These are designed to help students make a smooth transition from one school to the next educational level without experiencing delays, duplication of courses, or loss of credit.

Transfer accepts are guaranteed a 48-hour turn-around on credit evaluations. Our flexible credit policy allows students to transfer up to 90 credits from an accredited institution. In general, a "C-" in a college-level course is the minimum grade required to transfer a course. We also have several articulation agreements to ease the transfer process and qualify students for priority scholarships.

• Official final high school transcript or GED (except for applicants who have earned an associate degree).
• Official transcript(s) from each college/university attended.
• Letters of recommendation and personal statement (optional).
• Transfer students must be in good academic standing, have no outstanding balances due to a previous college, and have no disciplinary record at their previous institution(s).
