Undergraduate International Admissions

Fisher College actively seeks students from diverse backgrounds who have demonstrated the potential to graduate from Fisher College. Each application file is reviewed on an individual basis, and all submitted materials are taken into consideration.

International Students intending to enroll in the Spring Semester should apply by December 1st. Applicants for the Fall Semester should apply by July 1st.

Application credentials are reviewed regularly. Accepted students will be notified on a rolling basis. Students who may not meet admissions requirements will be notified after Fisher College has received all relevant information necessary to make a sound admissions decision.  

Admissions Requirements

  • Completed undergraduate application
  • $50 application fee to be paid on the application portal.
  • Official transcript sent directly from your secondary school. Photocopies of transcripts are not acceptable. Transcripts must be translated into English. If you are not able to provide an official, translated transcript, we recommend that you utilize the services of the Center for Educational Documentation to provide Fisher College with appropriate documentation.

  • Qualifying English proficiency score.

  • Minimum TOEFL score of 65iBT.The minimum TOEFL score required for direct acceptance is 65iBT. Students with lower scores may be conditionally accepted to Fisher or be required to attend language development courses. Students take college-level courses at the discretion of their Academic Advisor. The school code for Fisher College is 3391.

Transfer Student Requirements

  • Official university transcripts. If you intend to transfer from another college/university, you will need to forward official transcripts from that university as well as written course descriptions.
  • Transfer Release Form. International students transferring their I-20 from another university or language school must submit a transfer release form and a copy of their I-20 from the last college attended. All transfer students must be in good academic standing, must owe no money to their previous college, and must not have any judicial or criminal complaints against them.

Immigration Requirements

  • A notarized, current bank statement verifying that the student has a minimum of $59,000 U.S. Dollars in cash account available for his or her use.

  • If the bank account is not the student's name, then a notarized letter of support or Affidavit of Support should accompany the notarized bank statement from the holder of the account.

This proof of financial funding is for I-20 issuance ONLY. Providing proof of financial capability is required by the United States Federal Government and the Department of Homeland Security. This amount does not reflect a student's total [cost of attendance].
