About the BS in Human Services Early Childhood Education
The Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education is designed to enhance students' skills and knowledge in education and related human services fields. This program prepares graduates to work effectively with both children and adults in community organizations, social services, and early childhood educational settings.
Licensure Requirements
The Fisher College Early Childhood Education concentration may meet certification for early childhood education (birth-age 5) but is not a public-school licensure program. Students seeking professional licensure should contact the appropriate Department of Education licensing board in their state to verify licensure requirements.

Degree Pathways
Students who have earned 45+ college credits are encouraged to inquire about the Degree Completion Program (DCP).
Students who have earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential may be eligible to be awarded up to 7 credits through Prior Learning Assessment.
