Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention Concentration (Online)

About the BS in Human Services Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention  

The Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention is designed to enhance students' skills and knowledge in education and related human services fields. This program prepares graduates to work effectively with both children and adults in community organizations, social services, and early childhood educational settings. 

While pursuing this degree, students may also petition for the Associate in Arts in Early Childhood Education after completing the required 62 credits, including at least 30 credits earned at Fisher College, and fulfilling all course requirements for the associate degree. 

Licensure Requirements 

Fisher Colleges Early Education and Care Program is designed to meet certification for early childhood education (birth -5) in all 50 states but is not a public-school licensure program. Students seeking professional licensure should contact the appropriate Department of Education licensing board in that state to verify licensure requirements.

Students who have earned 45+ college credits are encouraged to inquire about the Degree Completion Program (DCP)
 
Students who have earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential may be eligible to be awarded up to 7 credits through Prior Learning Assessment.
