Getting Started

Office of Student Accessibility Services

The Office of Student Accessibility Services (OSAS) is here to support you during your enrollment. Our office is the central point where students request and obtain reasonable classroom, course, program and/or possibly housing accommodations. OSAS can also help you with obtaining external accommodations, referrals to educational testing sites, academic counseling, self-help resources, and most of all serve as a guide and liaison for you. The goal is to help level the "playing field" for students in compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Accommodations are arranged on a case-by-case basis each semester.

Students who have a documented disability such as ADHD, a learning disability, a psychiatric disability (i.e. major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder or personality disorder), a physical/medical disability (i.e. chronic illness, traumatic brain injury) and/or Vision/Hearing impairments may be eligible to receive reasonable academic accommodations.
