and graduate in 18 months (on average). 

Please note: This is a non-licensure program. Please refer to the MA in Counseling Psychology for the licensure track.

Online MA in Psychology - Mental Health Track Program Curriculum 

Explore theories and interrogate practices in psychopathology, counseling techniques, human development, crisis intervention and disaster mental health, addictions, and more. The online Master of Arts in Psychology’s mental health track consists of 10 courses, each lasting 12 weeks and worth three credits, for a total of 30 credits over at least five terms.

Admission Requirements 

Apply to the Psychology - Mental Health master’s degree program using the Graduate Program Application, which involves: 

  • An unofficial college transcript demonstrating that you have completed a bachelor’s degree. Upon admission, you must provide an official transcript. 

  • A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or higher, though we may consider other applicants on an individual basis. 

  • Personal Essay or Statement of Purpose. 

  • Two letters of recommendation. 

  • An updated résumé. 

  • OPTIONAL: GRE/MAT scores.
