Fisher College online graduate programs offer live virtual classes to create interactive learning environments that facilitate immediate exchanges between and among instructors and students. The interactive nature of live sessions promotes engagement, helping students build confidence, community, and motivation throughout the learning process.
Having a traditional lecture and the opportunity to ask questions in a live online classroom is important to me and Fisher provides this. I learn from class discussions, small groups, and feedback from the professor, as well as my classmates. I would struggle to comprehend master's level material in a fully asynchronous program.

Career Outlook
Prepare for roles that expand our understanding of interpersonal behaviors, thriving communities, and mental health with a master’s degree in psychology. This versatile program equips you to excel in a variety of professional settings and postgraduate research opportunities at top universities.
In my third term I really came to value the live class sessions. Unlike my fully asynchronous online undergraduate program, these live sessions make the learning experience feel much more like a real class. I am able to ask questions and receive real time responses, join in discussions to get perspectives from my classmates, and connect with both instructors and classmates on a more personal level. It’s helped me feel more engaged, supported, and part of a true learning community and still have the ability to work full time and be a mom!
