Fisher College Provides Anonymous Tip Service
(Boston, MA – March XX, 2013) – Fisher College is pleased to announce a new, anonymous tip service offered to the entire Fisher Community. “Tip411” is a new channel of safety communication and will go into effect immediately. It is a web-based tool that enables students to text an anonymous message to Fisher College police. This two-way “chat” can provide important information and help us all stay safe. “At Fisher we put the highest level of importance on campus and student safety. We are always looking for ways to improve safety at the College as well as within our Back Bay neighborhood. We are excited to offer this service to our community,” states Fisher College’s Chief of Police, Bill Chase.
HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:
• You see something you think the Fisher College Police should know about.
• Text us at tip411 (847411): FISHER (space) and then type your message.
• We get right back to you by a 100% anonymous text to pinpoint the problem.
Another option is a Web tip form: You can post a link to the form on your website and the tips from the form will go into the same system as the text tips. Here is an example of how that works: http://www.citizenobserver.com/cov6/app/webTipForm.html?id=7460
Remember, if you or your friends are in trouble and need the police immediately call the Fisher College campus police directly at 617-236-8880.
