Center for Leadership in Public Service Visits BPD

The Center for Leadership in Public Service (CLPS) and the Office of Career Services recently brought a small group of criminal justice students to the Boston Police Department (BPD) Headquarters four a tour of the facilities and to learn more about the Research and Development department. Students Victoria Guay (sophomore), Jackie Kauma (sophomore), and King Charles (freshman), met with personnel and were given an overview of departmental functions.

CLPS has been working with researchers from the BPD on various criminal justice research projects and continues to involve Fisher College students in the research activities, better preparing them for internships. Thank you to Senior Research Analyst Marjorie Bernadeau from the Boston Police Department for organizing the visit.

The Center for Leadership in Public Service at Fisher College was created to combine the capabilities and resources of Fisher College with the highest caliber public safety specialists and researchers providing unparalleled planning and program implementation services, along with training and related programs for public sector employees and practitioners.
