Fisher College to Collect Donations for Soldiers
1st Lieutenants Chris Leonard and Elizabeth Connors
As part of the College's continued support of US troops, Fisher College has "adopted" two US soldiers. The College will be collecting goods to ship to the soldiers and their troops in November 2012. The soldiers selected are 1st Lieutenant Chris Leonard of the US Army, who currently leads a scout platoon in Northern Afghanistan, and 1st Lieutenant Elizabeth Connors, a black hawk pilot currently posted at Ft. Campbell, KY.
Donations will be collected until November 5 and may be dropped off with Dr. Ann Clarke, Director of Spiritual Life and Outreach Programs, located in the Student Center at 133 Beacon Street.
Suggested items for donations include food and snacks, travel sized toiletries, magazines, and games. For a full list of suggested items, please contact the Office of Communications at communications@fisher.edu.
