Fisher Hosts the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analytics
The Center for Leadership in Public Service (CLPS) at Fisher College hosted the January 2012 meeting of the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts (MACA). The meeting at Fisher College was the launch for both the strategic partnership between the CLPS and MACA as well as the kickoff of a major statewide criminal justice research project the CLPS is part of. CLPS and Fisher College are excited about the strategic partnership with MACA to provide training and technical assistance in the criminal justice area as well as to pursue grant opportunities for research and training purposes. The CLPS is thrilled to be part of the research on how forensic evidence is used in the MA criminal justice system. This research is crucial given the shortage of resources.
