DAPS students
Here at Fisher College, a private, non-profit since 1903, we understand the challenges that adult students face. That’s why we developed the Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies (DAPS) program specifically for students just like you. We make it easy for you to go back to school and advance your career with:

Convenient, flexible course schedules
Accelerated 8 week terms
Easy credit transfers
Personalized learning experiences
Affordable tuition with generous financial aid

Our academic programs can be taken at any one of our campuses in Boston, Brockton, New Bedford  and North Attleboro. Online and blended learning options are available.

All DAPS courses are taught on an accelerated 8-week schedule. Part-time students take one class per term, and full-time students can take two. New students may enroll any time to be eligible for classes in the upcoming term.  For a schedule of upcoming term dates, check out the Course Schedule here.

If you’ve taken college-level classes in the past, we will happily give you a transfer credit evaluation. First fill out an online application (the application fee is waived if submitted online) then send us your official transcript.

We also offer credit for other relevant training experiences. Students in the past have received credits for military service, employment experience, and other non-credit classes they’ve taken. Learn more about getting a Prior Learning Assessment here.

Our students rave about the personalized attention they receive from their instructors – both in the classroom and online.  For more stories from current DAPS students, check out their posts in the Fisher blog.

For those that qualify, we offer generous Financial Aid opportunities to our adult students, from grants and scholarships to personalized payment plans. Learn more about the financial aid available to you and how to apply.

With more than 20 percent of our staff being veterans themselves, it’s no wonder Fisher has been recognized since 2011 as a military-friendly college in GI Jobs. From offering one of the highest BAH’s in the nation, to GI Bill assistance, as an active or veteran member of the armed forces, you and your family members are eligible for a host of benefits. Learn more about Fisher’s benefits for military students here.
