PS425 Psychological Assessment
Prerequisite: PS 322.
This course provides an overview of psychological testing and is recommended for psychology majors, especially students interested in pursuing advanced degrees in psychology. The major tests of interest, aptitude, and personality currently used in clinical and educational assessment, will be emphasized. Measurement concepts essential to test
interpretation and evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, and biases of various testing instruments will be covered as well.
