LA205 Legal Research and Writing
Prerequisite: GV 105.
Students are trained to use a law library to solve basic problems in legal research. With the use of reporters, citators, codes, and commentaries found in books and electronic data bases such as CD-ROM, students develop effective legal research techniques and strategies. Students also practice the mechanics of effective legal writing by drafting various legal documents including case briefs.
