IS 106 Horizons

This course prepares students to be active and knowledgeable participants in a global community, through a combination of experiential and traditional classwork. Students connect with their academic discipline on a global scale by encountering a new culture and exploring the history, customs, commerce, food, literature, art, and attractions through thoughtfully planned and structured activities in the country. This experiential learning opportunity will be complemented by lectures, readings and discussions.
