HS 410 Contemporary Issues in Human Service
Prerequisite: HS 101 and 60 credits or permission of Program Director.
This course is an overview of several different topic areas in the field of Human Services. It is meant to expose students to different populationstypically served by Human Services professionals, which willbroaden the student’ perspectives and help them to develop competenceand confidence when dealing with diverse client issues. Guestspeakers will be invited to speak on different topics throughout thesemester. A library component is required.
