ED103 Introduction to Early Childhood Education
An introduction to the field of early childhood education and program planning. The course will study the historical influences and current issues in planning early childhood programs. The specifics of planning quality infant/toddler and preschool programs will be studied including: curriculum goals, teacher roles, design of environments, and parent involvement. Observations in child care centers are an integral part of the course. Replaces ED211. Only one of these two courses may be applied to a degree program.
