AC301 Accounting Information Systems

Prerequisite: AC 201 with a grade of C or better.

This course examines the role of accounting information systems (AIS) in
achieving organizational objectives. The course addresses concepts and
applications relating to the design, implementation, and operation of
contemporary computer based accounting systems. The role of e-commerce, Internet-based technologies, internal controls and security issues are
examined throughout the course.
