Frequently Asked Questions

Fisher For Life:
A Benefit for All Fisher Alumni
What is Fisher for Life?
Fisher for Life is one of many "Alumni Advantages" that are offered to Fisher alumni. A 25% discount is applied to the cost of any continuing education course. Fees and books are not covered by the discount. State and federal financial grants, as well as employer reimbursements, may be used to pay for a course. Refunds are not provided.
Do I qualify?
Every Fisher graduate qualifies for Fisher for Life, so whether you earned a certificate or an associate's or a bachelor's degree you are eligible. You must have earned your certificate or degree at least six months prior to enrolling in Fisher for Life and cannot have taken a Fisher College course during that time.
What courses are open to me?
Fisher for Life is offered through the College's nationally-ranked Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies (DAPS). All three-credit DAPS courses, whether available in Boston, Brockton, New Bedford, or North Attleborough, or through Fisher Online, are open to alumni, subject to space availability. Students must take the course for credit (noncredit audit courses do not apply). A student may enroll in no more than two courses per session, four in any academic year, and ten courses total. Fisher for Life is subject to change.
For more information on how your associate's degree could be a stepping stone to your earning a bachelor's degree at Fisher, please read the Fisher for Life FAQ (pdf, opens in new window).
Why should I participate?
The advantages of new credentials, coupled with Fisher's new bachelor's degree programs, make you more marketable.
