English Preparation Programs at Fisher College
Fisher College offers multiple options for international students who require additional English Language preparation.
The Language Company-Boston
Students in need of English Language preparation may enroll at The Language Company-Boston at Fisher College. Offering nine levels of English instruction, The Language Company-Boston is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), and has provided "superior English instruction and cultural activities to students worldwide" since 1983.
Foundation Diploma
Our Foundation Diploma, offered in partnership with Study Group, is a fast track pathway to a Fisher College Degree. Students enrolled in the Foundation Diploma have the opportunity to earn university credits alongside English language preparation and academic study skills courses. An official TOEFL or IELTS score is not required, however students must have a minimum equivalent score of TOEFL 397 PBT for admission to the program.
Upon successful completion of the Foundation Diploma, students progress directly into the second year of an undergraduate degree.
Summer Group Programs
In addition to the regular Intensive Program, The Language Company offers individual and group programs for academic development, professional enrichment and special interests at the Fisher College campus. Several housing opportunities are available.
