Pauline Hatzikostantis joined the Fisher College faculty in 1989. Since then, she has served the college in a variety of different capacities, including Director of the Medical Assisting program, Chair of Allied Health Programs and Human Services, and as Chair in The Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies in Boston. Professor Hatzikostantis currently serves as the Program Director for Health Sciences and Associate Professor. Her teaching areas include Biology, Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Human Reproductive Biology and Nutrition.
Prior to joining Fisher College, in addition to her higher education teaching experience for several years in area colleges and universities, she did clinical laboratory work at Mount Auburn Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She also did clinical research in Autoimmune Diseases at the Arthritis and Connective Tissue Disease Section of Clinical Research at Boston University Medical Center.
To be an effective educator you must have passion for your field and love to work with young people. An educator must inspire students. When the fear of science is turned into a successful academic experience for a student, what more could you ask for? You have achieved your goal.
