Teaching Philosophy
When a friend in college asked if I wanted to earn extra money tutoring writing, I thought, sure, why not? I could have used some extra cash while in college. I never dreamed I would find what I wanted to do with my life…teach. I realized that I loved writing and showing others how to do it well. I declared myself an English major and never looked back. I love to share my love for reading and writing with students. I also enjoy showing them that writing is not as painful as they may think. Reading and writing are practical skills, but they can also help us lead more fulfilled lives.
