Larry Poe began working as an adjunct professor of English at Fisher College in 2007. He had previously taught English Composition and World Literature for West Virginia University's Parkersburg Campus. In the summer of 2009, Mr. Poe accepted an assistant professorship in English and joined Fisher's full-time faculty. He holds an associate's degree from West Virginia University in English and Spanish; a bachelor's degree in English and History from Glenville State College; and a master's degree in Humanities with special emphasis on Literary Studies from Marshall University. His master's thesis topic was "Narrative Voicings in the novels of Roddy Doyle." Mr. Poe is currently working on an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration.
