Dr. Siciliano has been teaching various psychology classes at Fisher since 1996. Prior to Fisher College, Dr. Siciliano was involved in education in a variety of ways. Besides traditional high school teaching, Dr. Siciliano spent many years in special education. He has been part of an alternative high school and has established several middle school self-contained class rooms.
For the past several semesters, Dr. Siciliano has been researching classroom participation. He has presented his results with his student at the Faculty Spring Convocation.
"Because of the intimacy and size of Fisher College, an educator can create a situation in which learning becomes the norm; in which participation becomes the norm; and in which students develop skills, acquire knowledge, and become eager to display them."
