Meet Our Students

For me, Fisher provides a fantastic learning environment. Personally, I learn more in their smaller class settings where I benefit from individualized attention. This intimate environment also makes it easy for me to participate in class discussions.

Fisher furnishes so many opportunities to get involved, both inside and outside of the classroom. This year I am the President of our Student Government Association. We meet twice a month where we plan and organize different campus events and fund-raisers. I have learned so much from this group: the importance of being open minded, of sharing and exploring ideas, of being organized, punctual and respectful, as well as the power of brainstorming sessions. The Director of the Drama Club, also a professor in the English Department, exudes a dynamic teaching style. Her direction and guidance helped to create one of my fondest experiences while at Fisher. We were a small club of 12 to 15 students and produced three plays during the school year. The plays involved so much work, but the rewards and the close relationships that formed will be forever treasured. I am looking forward to directing my first play next year. My favorite on-campus site has got to be the cafeteria. It's open late at night as well as early in the morning. It's a popular spot to meet up with friends, as well as meet new ones.
