Prospective Students

Pre-Application and Admissions
At Fisher College, students with disabilities are evaluated for admission according to the same criteria as all other applicants; disability is not taken into consideration in making admissions decisions. Please visit the Office of Admissions or the College Catalog for Admissions criteria.

If you have questions about disability and admissions policies, please contact the Office of Student Accessibility Services or the Fisher College Office of Admissions. If you would like to arrange a meeting with the Office of Admissions or tour the campus and need accommodations to do so, please inform the Admissions staff and the Office of Student Accessibility Services two weeks in advance so that we may best prepare for your visit.

Student Accessibility Services and Accommodations Inquiries prior to Admission
While Fisher College works diligently to meet a wide range of student needs, it is a good idea to discuss your specific situation with the Office of Student Accessibility Services either before or during the admissions process to make sure that Fisher College is the right choice for you.

Students with disabilities are encouraged to bring any questions or concerns about accommodations and services needed to the Office of Student Accessibility Services prior to admission. Please contact our Director at (617) 670-4429 to discuss your concerns or set up an on-campus meeting.

Be assured that information provided is kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone involved in the admissions process.

Fisher is a supportive and nurturing environment; known for the individualized attention we are able to provide students. Nevertheless, students must arrive prepared academically and socially to take on an active role in the accommodations process, participate fully in their academic program, and handle the responsibilities of either living on campus or being a commuter student. Students with disabilities must possess the independence, maturity, and willingness to utilize available campus and community resources to manage their disability needs.
