Meet the Faculty

BACHELOR'S DEGREES
Communication and Media Studies
The Communication and Media Studies major combines courses in communication, advertising, public relations, and journalism. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking, professional writing skills, and effective oral communication.
Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice major prepares students for both careers and advanced studies through a combination of courses in criminal justice, psychology, and sociology providing an interdisciplinary understanding of the nature of crime as well as the processes that prevent and respond to crime.
Human Services
The Human Services major will prepare students to assess the social and developmental needs of at-risk individuals and families and deliver the services they need, directly or by managing multiple providers. The Human Services program has a concentration in Early Childhood Education.
Management
The Management program incorporates a carefully constructed business core curriculum with a strong grounding in management knowledge and skills. Students may choose to focus in an area of special interest through a concentration: Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Fashion Merchandising, Health Care Management, Health Information Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Marketing, Public Administration, or Sports Management.

Psychology
The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree at Fisher College has been developed to give students a solid background in the scientific study of human behavior, both individually and within society.
