Academics
It has been the tradition of Fisher College to serve the educational needs of different populations. Within the Day Division, Fisher offers bachelor's and associate's degrees in a small college setting. The Division of Continuing Education, which includes the Online Campus, offers degree, certificate, and non-credit programs to a broad spectrum of learners as well as to business and industry through courses, seminars, workshops, and training sessions.
The Day Division academic year is divided into two semesters. The DCE and Online Divisions academic year is divided into six terms of approximately 8 weeks. All credits awarded are Semester Hours of credit. Regardless of the length of the term, a standard number of contact hours is maintained.
