NEASC Reaccreditation
Every ten years, Fisher College is required by its accrediting agency, the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC), to undertake an institution-wide review. The goal is to ensure that Fisher is effectively meeting qualitative standards and is continually improving its educational program.
NEASC alerted Fisher College of its decennial accreditation in April 2008. The College's reaccreditation self-study officially began in Fall 2008. Led by the Provost, Dr. Susan Dunton, the Fisher College NEASC Steering Committee is comprised of the following campus leaders:
• Janet Kuser, Chair, Division of Management & Public Administration/Assistant Professor of Management
• Richard Levitt, Vice President for Institutional Advancement
• Shiela Lally, Dean of Students
• Neil Trotta, Director, Division of Continuing Education-Boston Campus/Assistant Professor of Management
• Dr. Dean Walton, Chair, Division of Liberal Arts & Sciences/Professor of English
The Standards for Reaccreditation guided the Steering Committee and its eight subcommittees in preparing Fisher's Institutional Self-Study, which was submitted in February 2010 in advance of the peer-review site visit scheduled for April 11-14, 2010.
