Fisher College Women's Basketball Coaches

Head Coach Troy Smith (7th year)

Entering his seventh season, Coach Smith has been at the head of Fisher Women's Basketball since the Program's beginning. He was named the Sunrise Conference Coach of the Year for the 2004-2005 season and at the same time, his team was awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award. Last season, he coached hi team into the Sunrise Conference Final 4 for the first time. Before coming to Fisher, Smith was a coach for the Men's and Women's Programs at Cardiff University in Wales as well as the coach of the 15U Welsh Boys National Team.

Prior to his coaching career, Smith played five years of professional basketball in Europe spending time with the London Towers, Cardiff Hawks, and Cardiff Heat. He holds a Business Administration degree from St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, North Carolina and serves as Assistant Coordinator at the Madison Park Community Center. Coach Smith resides in Boston.
