
Head Coach: Scott Dulin (7th Year)
Scott Dulin is entering his seventh year at Fisher
College as Director of Athletics and Head Baseball Coach. Dulin has been
at the helm of the Fisher College
Department of Athletics since its inception in 2001. In 2004, 2005, 2006
and 2007 Dulin was named the Sunrise Conference and NAIA Region X Baseball
Coach
of
the Year. In 2007, Dulin earned the esteemed honor as the NAIA Region X Coach
of Character which is given to one coach within the entire region for all
sports. He was also awarded the 2004 and 2005 Sunrise Conference Director
of Athletics of
the
Year. He
has
coached
numerous
All-Conference
and All-Region
Players as well as three Rookies of the Year and two Players of the Year.
During the 2006 season, Coach Dulin reached two significant milestones;
100
career wins and 100 wins for the Fisher Baseball program. Dulin was part
of the 2005 Class that was inducted into the Fisher College Athletics Hall
of
Fame.
Before starting the Baseball Program at Fisher, Dulin was the Head Coach
at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy for two years. Prior to that he was
the
Assistant Coach at his Alma Mata, The University of Maine at Farmington.
Coach Dulin holds a Bachelor of Art degree in History from UMF where he
was a 4-year
starting infielder and a two-time captain. In 2004, he served as a Major
League Baseball Envoy to Costa Rica. Dulin also serves as the NAIA Region
X Chair and representative to the Council of Athletics Administrators as
well as the Sunrise Conference President. Coach Dulin resides in Allston,
Massachusetts, with his wife Kara.
Bench Coach: Bill Englehardt (2nd Year)
Bill is entering his second season as an Assistant Coach for the Falcons.
Bill served as the Bull Pen Coach in his first year and has been promoted
to the Bench Coach for the 2008 campaign. Englehardt also plays a key role
in Athletics Fund Raising.
Pitching Coach: John Trask (2nd Year)
John Trask is entering his second season
as pitching coach at Fisher College. In Trask's first season, the Fisher
pitching staff's team ERA of 3.02 ranked
fourth in the nation out of 194 NAIA Division I schools. During the 2007
season, the Fisher staff ran off a string of 11 consecutive games without
allowing an earned run. Trask also serves as the Head Coach for the Haverhill
Legion Team in Haverhill, MA.
1st Base Coach/ Defensive Instructor: Luis Lara (1st Year):
Luis is a graduate
of Fisher College and a 4-year starter as a Falcon. Luis was a All-Conference
and All-Region performer two times over his career. With playing experience
as a pitcher and an infielder, Lara will play a key role in bringing this
club to a new level.
Volunteer Coach: Joey Eugenio (1st Year)
Joey was the 2007 team captain and
starting Catcher. Joey graduated from Fisher College last spring but
will be back
in a volunteer role to help with our young catchers. Joey is now working
for Boston Medical as a staff accountant.
Volunteer Coach: Kyle VanOfferern (1st Year):
Kyle is another Fisher College
graduate and former player. Kyle was a 4x All-Conference and All-Region
performer
and was the leader of the pitching staff. VanOfferen will help Coach Trask
with the pitching staff and team conditioning.
