Accepting Your Award
We do not require that you officially accept your offer of assistance. We will assume that you accept the entire aid package unless you specifically notify us that you wish to decline all or part of the award.

Declining Your Award
Should you decide to decline any part of your award, we ask that you indicate on the offer letter which type(s) of assistance you are reducing or declining by noting your wishes next to the specific type(s) of assistance. Please sign, date, and return the letter to our office. Before mailing the letter, you may wish to make a copy of it for your files. Award components can be declined at any time.

Additional documentation may be required for some types of aid that you have been awarded. Below are the common examples:

Federal Stafford Loans
Students must complete an on-line entrance interview in order for the loan to be processed. This can be completed at www.mapping-your-future.org (opens in new window). Once we certify your eligibility, an e-mail will be sent by the servicer (most likely American Student Assistance) directing the student to complete a Master Promissory Note. Both of these forms only need to be completed once and are good for a student's education at Fisher College.

Federal Perkins, and Mass No Interest Loans
You are required to sign a promissory note before any funds can be deposited into your student account. These documents will be sent to you to complete and send back to our office.

Student Employment
For any student that has been offered Federal Work-Study, they must complete both an I-9 and W-4 with the office of student employment in order to work on campus. Required documents must be presented in person.
