Associate In Science Degree

The Associate in Science in General Studies Program is for the student whose career, transfer, or personal needs are not met by other programs of study at the College. While fulfilling the general education core required of all graduates, this program, through its elective choices, allows maximum flexibility for the student to discover and pursue career, transfer, and personal goals. In completing the College's core curriculum, students in this program will acquire general background in communications, social sciences, humanities, and mathematics/science. Working with an academic advisor, the General Studies major will determine a program of liberal arts and non-liberal arts courses that meets individual interests and aptitudes as well as attends to career and transfer potential. Graduates receive the degree of Associate in Science in General Studies.
