Danielle Egan

"Here at Fisher the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the teachers is amazing. The teachers have helped me get acquainted with the school and the people. They have made me feel comfortable, and I know that they really care about my well being. Since I come all the way from California, their kindness and interest in my life have helped me through the semester. This is something you can't get at a large school. I like that I am an actual person rather than just another name. "

Academics
Student
Fisher College offers English Preparation Programs for international students who have met the academic requirements for college entry, but whose English needs improving.

It has been the tradition of Fisher College to serve the educational needs of different populations. In its Day Division, Fisher offers a Bachelor of Science in Management degree as well as career and transfer programs in a small college setting. This division actively seeks a diverse student population reflecting a cross section of American and international cultures.

The Division of Continuing Education offers degree and certificate programs both electronically and at locations in eastern Massachusetts to a broad spectrum of learners as well as to business and industry through courses, seminars, workshops, and training sessions.

The Day Division academic year is divided into two semesters. The DCE and Online Divisions academic year is divided into six terms of approximately 8 weeks. At the end of each term grades are mailed to the student and become a permanent part of the student's academic record.

All credits awarded are Semester Hours of credit. Regardless of the length of the term, a standard number of contact hours is maintained.
