Partnership Expands Catalog for College and Back Bay Residents
BOSTON - Fisher College has finalized a contract with the Metro-Boston Library
Network (MBLN) to improve resource sharing in the Back Bay by providing the
College and its students, faculty, and staff with access to millions of books,
CD's, DVD's, and audio books.
"Fisher College is committed to serving as a resource and looks forward to capitalizing on this new partnership for the benefit of our students and the Back Bay community," said Dr. Charles C. Perkins, the College's President.
Fisher College is only the second higher education member of the MBLN, which is comprised of Boston Public Library, Malden Public Library, Chelsea Public Library, Roxbury Community College, Newman Preparatory School, Boston Public Schools, Pearson Prentice Hall Library, and the State Transportation Library.
The Metro-Boston Library Network is an automated network designed to bring strength and collaboration to participating libraries in the metropolitan area of Boston. All Massachusetts residents may borrow circulating materials that are included in the catalog.
The College welcomes residents interested in borrowing materials from its collection or locating BPL resources. Visitors are also invited to enjoy the architecture of the College's library, which is located at 118 Beacon Street.
Founded in 1903, Fisher College is a private two-year college offering a baccalaureate degree in Business Management.
