CJ325 International Corrections

Prerequisite: 30 credit hours

The course examines international correctional systems and evaluates their perspectives on current trends, issues and problems such as prison overcrowding, lack of alternatives to incarceration, victims' rights, restorative justice, and special inmate populations.  Additionally, the course will examine how the cultural, political and economic climates of various nations and impact their correctional systems.
