Boston, MA (September 30, 2013) – Fisher College is pleased to announce the launch of the Pathways Scholarship Program through its Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies (DAPS) for Fall 2013. The scholarship provides students with an opportunity to finish what they started at Fisher College and complete their degrees.

Under the scholarship program, students receive their first class upon return at no cost and their last class to complete their degree at no cost. All students must remain continuously enrolled, taking at least three credits per eight-week term.

Associate degree students and bachelor degree students who previously chose not to pursue their education for one year or longer are eligible, provided they have a 2.5 GPA or higher, are in good financial standing with the college and have completed 45 credits or less for associate degree students and 90 credits or less for bachelor degree students.

“The Fisher College Pathways Scholarship was designed specifically for our students in the Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies and provides these students with an opportunity to attain their degrees and finish what they started here at the college,” said Dr. Neil Trotta, Dean of the Division of Accelerated and Professional Studies. “Currently, we have more than 300 students who have started a four-year or two-year degree at Fisher College and stopped-out for various reasons. We’re thrilled to launch an incentive program that we hope will encourage many of these students to achieve what they initially set out to do: earn a degree from Fisher College and pursue their career goals.”

Military students receiving any type of military benefits who are eligible for the Pathways Scholarship Program will receive both the military benefits and the Pathways Scholarship.
