MG410 Contemporary Issues in Human Resource Management

Prerequisites: MG 202, and completion of 90 credits toward the Bachelor of Science in Management Degree.

This course is designed to further explore the ever-changing demands of human resource professionals. By identifying, analyzing, and discussing topics that impact the field, students will be prepared to face the diverse challenges facing human resources today. Topics to be discussed include the major functions of human resource management: recruitment and employment, employee relations, government compliance, compensation and benefits, training and development, and strategic planning.
