EN101 English I

This first-year course is a skills-based introduction to critical reading, writing, and critical thinking. Through interdisciplinary reading assignments, in-class work, and a series of papers, students will developan approach to analyzing and responding to ideas presented in class in writing and orally. In addition, students will develop their research techniques and their ability to understand the mechanics of writing, including punctuation, grammar and spelling.
