President McGovern will retire at the close of the academic year, June 30, 2017.
President McGovern has led Fisher College, located in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay, for the past decade after being appointed as the eighth president of the institution in 2007.

Fisher College Community Comes Together for 9/11 Day of Service

Faculty, staff, and students of Fisher College in Boston stepped up in service to mark the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks for the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. Volunteers gathered at the Boston campus to construct nearly 300 care packages for veterans currently served through the New England Center and Home for Veterans, joining hundreds of thousands of Americans across the country in volunteer service.

Fisher College Agreement Allows Students to Transfer Credits in Pursuit of a Degree

Smart Horizons Early Childhood/Early Intervention courses can now be applied to degree requirements at Fisher College

Boston, MA – An articulation agreement between Fisher College and Smart Horizons program will make it easier for students to earn their degrees. This agreement will allow students enrolled in Early Childhood Education training courses through Smart Horizons to transfer up to six credits to be used in the pursuit of an associate’s degree in Early Childhood or bachelor’s degrees in Human Services/Early Childhood/Early Intervention.
