The “Veterans Welcome-Home Breakfast” is held annually to honor recently-returned military veterans and their families for their dedicated service to our nation and its people. The event will be led by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and will be attended by local veterans and their families, as well as Francisco Ureña, Veterans’ Services Commissioner; Fisher College administration; and other city officials.

“We are proud to have Fisher College host this year’s Veterans Welcome-Home Breakfast,” stated Francisco Urena, Commissioner of Veterans Services for the City of Boston. “Boston is dedicated to serving those who have served us and giving back to the local military community. It is a pleasure to participate in this event with the likeminded folks at Fisher College who really go above and beyond to serve their military students.”

“Fisher College is dedicated to serving military veterans and active duty service members,” stated Dr. Thomas McGovern, President of Fisher College. “It is an honor to host an event that gives back to those who have sacrificed so much to serve our country.”
