The Library currently has computers available for student use, some of which are located on the second-floor balcony of 118 Beacon Street, and some of which are located in the Library Instruction Classroom on the third floor. Laser printing (black and white) is provided at no cost. All computers are PCs running Windows XP and are equipped with Microsoft Office 2007 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access), Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Netscape. To access computers, students must login with their campus network username and password. Instructions on how to do this are provided in the computer locations. Students may access the Library's website, online catalog and databases from any on-campus computer. (Dorm computers will require remote authentication to access our databases.)

Priority for library computers is given to students working on classwork. During high-traffic periods, students using computers for recreational purposes may be asked to give up their computers to students needing them to work on assignments.
